Seasons Greetings<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Last year on Christmas Day I wrote:<\/p>\n

I woke this morning to several inches of fresh snow on the ground, our first heavy snowfall of the winter in the Salt Lake Valley arrived just in time for Christmas Day. It is dark outside and I am not sure exactly how much of the white stuff there is but it looks beautiful and using the glow of the streetlights I can see that the snow is still falling.<\/em><\/p>\n

And here is is Christmas morning of 2017 and I could write virtually the same thing although if the snow is still falling it must be very fine because I can’t see it in the streetlights. The road is white, the temp is 28\u00b0F and it really does look like Christmas out there.<\/p>\n

And once again I can say that I hope to be able to get out this morning to photograph even if it is to just go down the hill and photograph a few birds at the local pond. Photographing birds on Christmas has become a tradition for me since I am not close to my family geographically.<\/p>\n

Wherever you are, whatever holiday you celebrate if you celebrate at all, I wish you joy and peace and hope that you will feel the love of your family and friends today and every day.<\/p>\n
