Photographing Yellow-bellied Marmot pups have delighted me this spring and since they don’t stay little for long I have taken photos of them every time I have had the chance. I think they are just too cute to pass by.<\/p>\n

This marmot pup was out sunning on top of a lichen encrusted rocks with visible spring growth of grasses and rabbitbrush when I photographed it at the end of April this year.<\/p>\n

There were at least 5 other marmot pups that I could see along with one adult but they stayed more well hidden than this one.<\/p>\n

The Yellow-bellied Marmot<\/span><\/a> pups are growing fast and it has been such fun for me to see them playing, sunning, grooming, eating, and sleeping this spring.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
