This Rough-legged Hawk was photographed this past winter at Farmington Bay Waterfowl Management Area<\/span><\/a> in northern Utah.<\/p>\n

Rough-legged Hawks breed in the Arctic so we don’t see them around here in northern Utah during the summer. I think that makes me appreciate them all the more when they are here.<\/p>\n

I didn’t notice until after I published “Birds of Antelope Island<\/a><\/span>” yesterday that it was my 400th post on this blog. This blog has been visited by people from 154 countries since I started writing it. It is awesome to reach out and touch so many viewers from so many locations!<\/p>\n
