Birds & more birds<\/strong><\/h2>\n

In the past week I have photographed so many birds in a Wasatch Mountain canyon that I thought I would share a group of them in a photo gallery. If you would like to see them larger just click on the first image and a slide show will pop up.<\/p>\n

I am seeing and photographing lots of juvenile and immature birds along with the adults and that has delighted me. The one immature bird that surprised me was the Lark Sparrow because they aren’t usually seen in riparian habitats but this was a young bird so maybe it had lost its way.<\/p>\n

I’ve been seeing immature Yellow Warblers for a while now and now I am also seeing immature Bullock’s Orioles, Gray Catbirds, Song Sparrows and Lazuli Buntings. Each one is a thrill for me to photograph.<\/p>\n

All of the images were taken using my Nikon D500 and my 500mm VR with my 1.4 TC attached, there are too many images to list all of my settings and these photos only scratch the surface of the birds I have seen and don’t include all of the species either.<\/p>\n

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed being up in the mountains photographing all these birds. I love what I do!<\/p>\n

Life is good and it is even better when I am enjoying all of these feathered bundles of joy.<\/p>\n
