So… I did get out into the field yesterday but heavy fog got in the way of being able to see birds and the great scenery I know I could see at Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge. Being there reminded me of three years ago when Jolie Gordon and myself went to the refuge after a reported Snowy Owl sighting<\/span><\/a> except that yesterday it wasn’t snowing like it was that February morning, it was just as foggy though. Really, really foggy.<\/p>\n

I did see a few birds through the fog but the photos weren’t worth keeping, not even the images that I took of a Barn Owl who appeared to be wet from all of the moisture hanging in the air.<\/p>\n

Still, it was nice to be out on the refuge and I enjoyed the quiet but foggy views from the auto tour route.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
