It isn’t all that often that I am able to photograph a calling Ring-billed Gull close enough that I can get a great view of the inside of its bill so when the opportunity presented itself earlier this week I took advantage of the situation. I can’t help myself, I love gulls.<\/p>\n

This Ring-billed Gull was at the edge of my local pond when I drove up to photograph the birds there while the light was good in the late afternoon and it was still in the same place when I left about 15 minutes later to head back home and I enjoyed taking quite a few portraits of this gull during that time.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
