I forgot to set my alarm last night then woke at 4:00 am which is a touch later than normal and didn’t have a post planned at all so this will be short. I dug through some of my older files and realized I hadn’t edited or shared this Chipping Sparrow photo that was taken near the end of September of last year.<\/p>\n

I adore sparrows and photograph them whenever I can so when this Chipping Sparrow popped up on a wild rose bush and looked in my direction I was ready to take its photo. It was a rough day for me photographically speaking because heat waves had caused a lot of my photos to be somewhat soft, pulling over to photograph across sun baked roads can sometimes do that. Unlike many of the other Chipping Sparrow<\/span><\/a> photos I took that morning this one was sharp because it was taken as close to the shoulder as possible where there was vegetation and a small seep to help with the heat waves.<\/p>\n

The weather forecast for the next two weeks looks rather dismal and that is disappointing.<\/p>\n

I probably won’t be spending much time in the field over these next two weeks but that might give me more time to get caught up on my culling and I am so behind on that it is overwhelming. I might be sharing more images like this Chipping Sparrow that I didn’t get around to processing sooner because some parts of last year were so busy.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good even when the weather keeps me from being in the field.<\/p>\n
