Bird photography has been slow for the past week; August usually is in the Salt Lake Valley, but I’ve been going out anyway to see what I can find.<\/p>\n

Rocky Mountain Bee Plants (Cleomella serrulata<\/em>) are one of the wildflowers that are currently in bloom on Antelope Island State Park in some locations, they aren’t as widespread as the Moth Mulleins so I treasure finding them. I photographed this one yesterday and instead of finding bees on them I found two species of wasps.\u00a0\u00a0I believe the wasp in flight and the one on the left side of the flower head to be Western Yellowjackets, the other darker one hidden at the top left of the flower head I am not sure about the ID.<\/p>\n

They aren’t birds but they are “Things with Wings”.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
