I arrived home late last night from a trip back East to see and visit with family. It wasn’t a bird photography trip at all so I won’t be sharing bird photos from Virginia but I did take a few cell phone images of flowers, spiders and dragonflies.<\/p>\n

One of the dragonflies I photographed back East was a female Common Whitetail that was resting on a sidewalk, this dragonfly let me get close enough to take nice images even with my cell phone. We have this species here in northern Utah too but I haven’t been able to take images of one so far.<\/p>\n

I had a terrific visit with my sons, their families and with my mother too. The weather… well let’s just say I am not a fan of the high humidity at all, I’d forgotten how much the humidity affects me especially during the middle of summer. I got to see great country though and I enjoyed that tremendously.<\/p>\n

My flights back to Utah were delayed because of bad weather but I made it home safely last night and now have much to catch up on so I am keeping this post short.<\/p>\n
