\"YellowYellow Warbler in a thicket of willows<\/span><\/p>\n

I’m grateful that I am still seeing quite a few Yellow Warblers in the Wasatch Mountains because they will be migrating soon.<\/p>\n

I looked it up and found out that my last sighting of this species in 2018 was on the 16th of September which was a bird with a missing or injured eye<\/span><\/a> and at that time most of the other Yellow warblers had left about two weeks prior to my seeing that warbler.<\/p>\n

There are only a few more weeks now for me to enjoy photographing and observing these golden bundles of joy and although I will miss them while they are gone I am also happy since it appears that they had a successful breeding season with all of the young Yellow Warblers I have seen the past few weeks.<\/p>\n

For a little while the shrubs and trees seemed to be dripping with them everywhere I looked in the high mountain canyons.<\/p>\n

When this hatch year Yellow Warbler<\/span><\/a> popped out into an open area of a willow thicket in a beam of sunlight I was happy to take its photo.<\/p>\n

Life is good.<\/p>\n
