The first bird I found a few days ago in the Wasatch Mountains was an immature Red-tailed Hawk perched in an evergreen where the trees in the distance displayed autumn’s colors.<\/p>\n

There is nothing really special about the photo, just a young hawk hanging around in a tree.<\/p>\n

But…<\/strong><\/h2>\n

I have to wonder though how many people walked or drove right past this young Red-tailed Hawk<\/span><\/a> and never noticed that it was even there because they were lost in thought, talking on or reading something on their phones, or just not focused on the wonders of nature that surround them.<\/p>\n

If I had a super power, the super power I’d wish for is the ability to connect people to the sights, sounds, smells, and wonders of nature that they simply don’t pay attention to.<\/p>\n

Why?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Because we can’t live without a healthy planet.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> our one chance to see it all.<\/p>\n
