Usually by this time in December I’ve seen at least one Snow Goose to photograph but so far this year I haven’t found one yet. Granted, I haven’t been out looking for birds much this December partly because of bad weather and being physically under the weather too. With just a few days left in December I’m not sure if I will find a Snow Goose to photograph before the end of this year.<\/p>\n

Snow Geese begin migrating back towards their breeding grounds before too long and they arrive in large numbers in Delta, Utah by mid February. I’ve never gone down to Delta<\/span><\/a> when the Snow Geese are there and perhaps this is the year I ought to make the trip down to photograph them.<\/p>\n

Until then I will be looking for Snow Geese at my local ponds, at Farmington Bay WMA, Bear River MBR and the skies overhead.<\/p>\n
