When birds fly across the Gulf of Mexico in spring migration during or following a severe weather event a &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bird_fallout\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">bird fallout<\/span><\/a>&#8221; can occur.<\/p>\n<p>That is what had happened that day. Birds were simply falling out of the sky and landing on the ground due to exhaustion.<\/p>\n<p>Luckily, I had just left my vehicle when I spotted her and when I reached the grass next to the pavement I dropped down to the ground and belly crawled up to her. I was able to take a nice series of images of this Blackpoll Warbler before I backed away to allow her to recover from her long journey.<\/p>\n<p>Life <em>is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n<p>Mia<\/p>\n<p>Click <a
