Veterans Day is always held on November 11th and is a day set aside to honor all of those who have served our country in war or peace. Originally it was called Armistice Day which commemorated the end of World War I and celebrated world peace.<\/p>\n

My thanks go out to all<\/em> Veterans for their loyalty, for their sacrifices, and for their united love of this country.<\/p>\n

I picked this Bald Eagle photo to share today because the eagle is an iconic symbol of our country. It was photographed on a National Wildlife Refuge<\/span><\/a> here in Utah in the first light of the first day of a new year. For me it symbolizes hope, strength, and freedom.<\/p>\n

My father, my son, my relatives, and my friends fought for this country. They all did it with honor and integrity. Thank you.<\/p>\n
