There have been periods in my life when I felt as if I was inside of a dark, threatening storm that seemed it would never end both figuratively and literally. I’ve been through back to back hurricanes and tropical storms and believe me, those felt like they would never end.<\/p>\n

There are times when I feel as if I am riding out a storm due to circumstances or events that are out of my control I remind myself that all storms come to an end.<\/p>\n

That is the optimist in me.<\/p>\n

No matter how hard the wind blows, how much rain or snow falls, how many trees come down, or how many shingles blow off of the roof, those storms break up, dissipate, disappear, or move on.<\/p>\n

And the sky clears up for smoother sailing ahead. Today I needed to remind myself of that simple fact with thoughts and photos.<\/p>\n

Then I go out looking for birds, at times I do that before the storm even ends because…<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
