I photographed this Ruddy Turnstone in early morning light at Fort De Soto County Park<\/span><\/a> in Florida several years ago as it stood on the sandy beach. I like how the sunlight created a subtle warm glow to the shorebird’s plumage and the great catch light.<\/p>\n

This image was taken in November when the turnstones were in nonbreeding plumage.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
