I was able to photograph this\u00a0Barn Swallow on Antelope Island<\/span><\/a> yesterday as it rested on a rock and as I took images the swallow opened its bill for a few frames.<\/p>\n

I am not sure if the bird was yawning or calling to a bird nearby but I found the gaping opening of the bill rather funny so I thought I would share this image.<\/p>\n

I’ve had some issues to deal with lately so I haven’t had time to reply to your wonderful comments or to post comments on your blogs, I will try to get caught up soon.<\/p>\n
