Earlier this week I photographed this adult Savannah Sparrow just outside the town of Kamas<\/span><\/a>, Utah before heading up into the Uinta Mountains. I was looking for other birds along the side of the road when this small sparrow caught my eyes perched on an old wooden fence post in the early morning light.<\/p>\n

I like the simplicity of this photo.\u00a0 Just the Savannah Sparrow, an old wooden post with green grasses in the background.<\/p>\n

While I photographed this sparrow I could hear the songs<\/span><\/a> of other Savannah Sparrows nearby in the spring grasses.<\/p>\n

This sparrow didn’t stay on the post long and I was itching to head up into the Uinta Mountains but I still enjoyed having it in my viewfinder.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
