\"LichenLichen covered rock in the Centennial Valley<\/span><\/p>\n

Yesterday I posted an image of the Centennial Valley and Mountain Range<\/a> and I could easily put my finger on why<\/em><\/strong> I liked the image but with this photo of a rock formation and mountain slope in the background I can’t<\/em><\/strong> seem to figure out why I like it so much.<\/p>\n

It doesn’t have a bird or animal in it, it doesn’t have a grand view of the area. It doesn’t evoke a specific memory. It isn’t an iconic location, it is simply a rock formation with a mountain slope in the background.<\/p>\n

Perhaps sometimes we like what we like in an image without a reason that we can put a finger on. Or maybe that is just me.<\/p>\n

Life is<\/em> good.<\/p>\n
