My dream for my site was to be unique and my real life experiences in the field certainly are. For ten years, from May 2, 2015 to May 2, 2025, I never missed a single day of sharing posts.

The Stories Behind My Images
Mother’s Day And A Young Eastern Bluebird
Today I wanted to say Happy Mother's Day to all the moms out there and share a beautiful young Eastern Bluebird photo to honor my own Mom.
Scissor-tailed Flycatcher Picking Up Nesting Material
Earlier this week I caught a flash of gray, white and salmon-pink next to a dirt road at Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge. It was a Scissor-tailed Flycatcher.
Female Indigo Bunting at Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge
I was delighted to photograph this adult female Indigo Bunting yesterday from one of the gravel roads at Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma.
