Welcome!
On The Wing Photography contains posts with my photos plus the authentic stories behind my images. Additionally, you can visit my extensive photo galleries which contain more than 14,000 images of birds, wildlife, flowers, and trees along with photos of the incredible landscapes I visit.
My dream for my site was to be unique and my real life experiences in the field certainly are. For ten years, from May 2, 2015 to May 2, 2025, I never missed a single day of sharing posts.

The Stories Behind My Images
Tufted Titmouse Video Plus A Bonus Photo
Today I am sharing a Tufted Titmouse video that I created early yesterday morning, showing the bird working hard to get a sunflower seed out of its shell.
Urban Three-toed Box Turtle
I was enjoying my coffee outside yesterday morning when I spotted this Three-toed Box Turtle walking through the dew-covered grasses. Yes, I had to take photos.
Gray Treefrog – On Green
Last month I took these images of a Gray Treefrog at Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge. This just goes to show you all how far behind I am on sharing my photos!
