My dream for my site was to be unique and my real life experiences in the field certainly are. For ten years, from May 2, 2015 to May 2, 2025, I never missed a single day of sharing posts.

Male Long-billed Curlew Lifting Off
I photographed this male Long-billed Curlew last week as he was starting to lift off.
Breaking News: The World’s first Brown Cowbird x Painted Bunting Hybrid!!
From the plumage pattern, the bill, shape of the bird, colors and the bright red eye ring I was able to ID this fine feathered friend as the world's first Brown Cowbird x Painted Bunting hybrid ever!!
