Two days ago I was delighted to spot my first-of-year American Green Tree Frog on a lotus stem at Reeves Slough at Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge.

Yesterday I was very happy to spot this immature Bald Eagle resting on a snag with a cottonwood tree in the background at Sequoyah National Wildlife Refuge.
Blooming Sunflower, Shadows And Bugs
I appreciated how this volunteer sunflower glowed against the darkly shadowed background yesterday morning after the sun rose above the trees.
