  • Rose-breasted Grosbeaks are medium-sized songbirds with distinctive black and white plumage and a large, conical bill. The males have a black head, back, and wings, with a bright red triangle on their white breast. Females are brown above and heavily streaked below, with a whitish eyebrow and a pale bill.
  • Rose-breasted Grosbeaks are migratory. They breed in deciduous and mixed forests across eastern North America, from southern Canada to the northeastern United States.
