My dream for my site was to be unique and my real life experiences in the field certainly are. For ten years, from May 2, 2015 to May 2, 2025, I never missed a single day of sharing posts.

Before Dawn Breaks The Courtship Displays Begin On Greater Sage-Grouse Leks
Each year across the western states Greater Sage-Grouse begin to fly into leks on the sagebrush steppe during late winter and early spring to perform their fascinating courtship displays well before the first sign of dawn.
Shades of Green With A Northern House Wren
It just seemed fitting on St Patrick's Day to post something with a bit of green in it so I selected this Northern House Wren photo I took in May of 2014 in the Targhee National Forest in Clark County, Idaho.
Looking For Burrowing And Short-eared Owls
I'm getting ansty for spring migration and for the birds that it will bring including Burrowing and Short-eared Owls which I always look forward to photographing here in northern Utah.
