I love flowers, wild or cultivated. In peak bloom or just starting to flower. Even when they are fading.
These pink carnations just pleased my eyes and made me smile. I didn’t need anything more than that.

Such pretty carnations! We got to spend part of last week in our local mountains and see wildflowers blooming a few feet from remnants of snow.
