While I photographed hummingbirds last week high in the Wasatch Mountains I also took images of an adult male woodland Coyote watching me watching him.

Yesterday I was sent the link to Dave Barry's 2014 Holiday Gift Guide in the Miami Herald and as I scrolled through the article and came across my coyote image I laughed so hard tears almost fell.

I've wanted to capture images of a Coyote in blowing snow for a while now and I did get the chance yesterday, I really wish the foreground vegetation hadn't been in the way of a clear view of the Coyote.
