Happy Thanksgiving

Red-tailed Hawk flying over the snow

This year has been zipping by so quickly and it is hard to believe that Thanksgiving is already here and I really have so much to be grateful for.

I am blessed because I have my sons and their children, my mother, brother and his children, my friends and all of you. I am grateful to be able to share my passion for birds and photography each day.

Life is good.

At a time when “Black Friday ” seems synonymous with Thanksgiving, it is a pleasure to read this and wish you all the joys of the holiday, friends, family, creatures of the earth , water, and skies.Thank you for sharing your wonderful work which brings me education, awe, joy and laughs.

Thank You Mia! What deep sentiments! Such love comes through!
The only gifts that matter are the “gifts of each other” and the “natural beauty”
God has given each one of us.

I’m thankful for your blog Mia and so many opportunities this country has given me. Those early immigrants struggled then celebrated with the first Thanksgiving. Too bad there is still such a struggle for today’s immigrants and not a little more empathy. Check out KUER’s recent program on empathy if you missed it.
