I was going through some of my older photos while thinking about spring yesterday and came across this Mountain Bluebird image.
This photo of a male Mountain Bluebird in Wayne County, Utah made me smile when I thought about the location where it was created because it is so wild and beautiful up there. This was taken way out in the wilderness in front of a small lake that is filled by melting snow under a bright March bluebird sky. No city noises just the whispering of the wind rustling over the land warming up under the sun and the calls of the many birds that live their lives there.
The land where this Mountain Bluebird photo was taken is public land, I got there by traveling over public lands on dirt roads that meanders through a high country sagebrush steppe. This land is our land. It is our Wild.
Life is good.
