Veterans Day is always held on November 11th and is a day set aside to honor all of those who have served our country in war or peace. Originally it was called Armistice Day which commemorated the end of World War I and celebrated world peace.

My thanks go out to all Veterans for their loyalty, for their sacrifices, and for their united love of this country.

I picked this Bald Eagle photo to share today because the eagle is an iconic symbol of our country. It was photographed on a National Wildlife Refuge here in Utah in the first light of the first day of a new year. For me it symbolizes hope, strength, and freedom.

My father, my son, my relatives, and my friends fought for this country. They all did it with honor and integrity. Thank you.

Mia
