Today I’m sharing a photo of one of the Eastern Bluebird chicks that hatched here earlier this month. These bluebird chicks are growing fast.

Super mom bluebird is still feeding her chicks, but they’re also finding food on their own. They’re doing a pretty good job of it.

It won’t be long before the female Eastern Bluebird starts getting a nest ready for her second brood.

These young Eastern Bluebirds had a great start and are thriving. Despite being dive-bombed by a really territorial American Robin with a nest in a tree not far from the feeder and birdbath, the chicks are doing everything baby bluebirds should be doing.

I haven’t spent as much time as I’d like out with the bluebirds because of the problems caused by one of my upload folders during the site move.

I still have 279 images left to upload, place in my galleries, and add to the posts and pages where they belong. Considering that number was 1,178 right after the move, I’m making headway.

I’d just rather be outdoors with the birds and other creatures than fixing things.

Oh well.

Life is good.

Mia
