Atlantic Ghost Crabs

Ocypode quadrata

Atlantic Ghost Crabs are pale yellowish-white crustaceans with boxy bodies, stalked eyes, and long legs adapted for fast movement on sand. Their coloration provides effective camouflage against beach environments.

I am not sure why this particular Ghost Crab was out of its burrow during the day but I was happy that I had the opportunity to photograph it.
