Short-eared Owl in flight – Nikon D200, f6.3, 1/1250, ISO 400, +0.3, Nikkor 200-400mm VR with 1.4x TC at 400mm, natural light, not baited
I started off today thinking it was Thursday not Friday, that is how busy I have been lately. I am behind on culling images, editing and organizing. I’m not too busy to go out photographing birds though.
This Short-eared Owl photo was taken this morning after looking for the owls I have seen recently this one finally made a short appearance.
The grasses are beginning to turn golden with the summer heat, the Moth Mulleins are starting to bloom and the Great Salt Lake level is still rising from spring run off.
Good time to be out looking for birds.
Life is good.
