Friday Photos – Short-eared Owl

I started off today thinking it was Thursday not Friday, that is how busy I have been lately. I am behind on culling images, editing and organizing. I’m not too busy to go out photographing birds though.

This photo was taken this morning after looking for the Short-eared Owls I have seen recently this one finally made a short appearance.

The grasses are beginning to turn golden with the summer heat, the Moth Mulleins are starting to bloom and the Great Salt Lake level is still rising from spring run off.

Good time to be outlooking for birds.
