Just a simple post this morning of an older Marbled Godwit image I took in Florida in 2008. The birds at Fort De Soto are amazing and there are times I miss being there with them dearly. I have always thought of Marbled Godwits as graceful, elegant shorebirds and I still do. This godwit had a tiny Coquina in its bill and was about to swallow it when I took this image.
I really wanted to do a post on a juvenile Common Black Hawk that I saw yesterday which is rare for this area but I just didn’t have the time.
Life is good.
P.S: Some time in the next few days I will be working on my site again and the appearance will change. It might look strange for a bit while I work out the kinks.
