When I photographed this male Northern Yellow Warbler yesterday morning in the high Wasatch Mountains, I was in the great company of my dear friend, April Olson.

Last week while up in the mountains on two separate mornings I was able to take some adult male Northern Yellow Warbler photos at the same willow thicket.

Ruby-crowned Kinglets always seem to be on the move and blend into their habitat well which makes them challenging subjects to photograph.  I love the challenge of photographing small birds though.
